Bahrain Duty Free management and staff mark the 20th anniversary at a special celebration |
BAHRAIN. Bahrain Duty Free celebrated its 20th anniversary late last month with a major event for 300 staff and management at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
The event, held on 29 October, honoured staff members who have completed 20 years of continued service with the company, recognising their role in Bahrain Duty Free’s growth and development.
General Manager Garrett Coogan said: “We are extremely excited, proud and happy to participate in this great occasion of celebrating the company’s 20th anniversary. Though the past 20 years were not always straightforward, I am proud to say we were able to create a strong reputation for the company, and build a substantial customer base.
“The success that the company has secured for itself only motivates us to exert more efforts and continue the pace of our march toward further success and excellence. Our commitment towards our customers and our vow to be a truly customer focused travel retail company is an integral part of our vision, purpose and values. Customer satisfaction has always been one of the key aspects of our many accomplishments through the years.”
Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex has won numerous excellence awards down the years. In 2005 the company was named as Frontier’s Airport Retailer of the Year while it also won Best Marketing Campaign awards in 2004, 2005 and 2007.
