Swiss luxury goods house Bally has created two capsule collections for men and women to mark 2012, the Chinese Year of the Dragon.
The Dragon and Phoenix collections are inspired by the Chinese proverb “When the dragon soars and the phoenix dances, there is peace and tranquillity for all”.
Designed to express a spirit of love, passion and freedom, the women’s Phoenix collection and men’s Dragon collection of shoes, accessories and ready-to-wear are adorned with an alluring phoenix or powerful dragon.
The collections are especially suitable for Valentine’s Day, the company said.

Second Bally-rina collection
In a further product launch for spring 2012, Bally is introducing a second Bally-rina collection, comprising ballet shoes in what the company calls “a bouquet of sparkling colour”. The collection follows the success of the first Bally-rina shoe introduced in summer 2011.
Aimed at the gift market and made in soft leather, they are finished with a ribbon inspired by the brand’s signature Trainspotting theme.
