Betty’s Burgers joins trio of F&B arrivals at Sydney Airport

Sydney Airport introduces Betty’s Burgers to its diverse list of dining options at Terminal 1

AUSTRALIA. Popular burger chain Betty’s Burgers has made its travel retail debut at Sydney Airport Terminal 1’s casual dining precinct.

The burger brand joins the diverse line-up of food & beverage options along with Oporto, famous for its Bondi Burger, and Mad Mex, known for its burritos.

Sydney Airport Executive General Manager Commercial Mark Zaouk said: “As one of Australia’s most iconic burger brands, we could not be more thrilled to expand our food offering at the International terminal by welcoming Betty’s Burgers, delivering an Australian airport first for customers to enjoy.

“The trio of Betty’s Burgers, Mad Mex and Oporto is a fantastic offering and reinforces the airport’s focus on securing new and exciting food concepts that we know customers will love, elevating the casual dining experience across the airport.

“We understand that a great mix of grab and go options for those on the move and something more substantial for those who want to settle in with family and friends before they depart is key for international travellers, and we look forward to further curating our food offering to suit their needs.”

Cater Care Retail Chief Operating Officer Retail Rob Rutter added: “I’m delighted that Betty’s Burgers is making its airport debut at the gateway to Australia, Sydney Airport. Alongside Oporto and Mad Mex, the International terminal is the perfect setting for travellers to savour a taste of home before they jet off.”

Cater Care is one of the top eight airport F&B concessionaires across Australia and New Zealand lending their support to the 2024 Australian Airports Association (AAA) Retail & Commercial Forum, set to take place at the Pullman on the Park Hotel in Melbourne from 22-24 July.

Betty’s Burgers’ extensive menu highlights its range of Classic and Deluxe burgers, which feature slices of plump, red tomatoes, crispy lettuce and special sauce. Also available are Betty’s Classic Vegan Burger and Shroom Burger, made with crispy puff rice patty, fried mushroom patty and melted Gouda and Gruyère cheese.

Sides include crinkle-cut and French fries, as well as a range of options on the Nipper’s menu including kids beef burgers, chicken burger and chicken strips.  ‍
