Bidders await outcome of key Changi tenders – 06/09/06

SINGAPORE. Bidders are awaiting the impending outcome of a series of key coffee and food & beverage concessions at Singapore Changi Airport.

Nuance-Watson and Starbucks Coffee are among the big names competing for a Western speciality coffee concession at Changi Airport’s Departure/Transit Lounge North, Terminal 2. The concession runs from 15 November 2006 to 14 November 2009.

The other bidders are Bina Investment, Coffee Club, Delifrance Singapore, Dome Coffees, Pammas and Spinelli.

In addition to the coffee concession, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore is due to decide on the winners of brand name F&B kiosk concessions at T2 Departure/Transit Lounge North. The concessions run from 1 November 2006 to 30 April 2008.

Concession A covers a brand name Halal-certified kiosk, while Concession B comprises a Asian/Local speciality kiosk outlet.

The bidders are Bengawan Solo, Jollibean, Super Bean International and Vantage Gourmet.
