Blue Chip Group appoints Sangmin Ha as Managing Director

Blue Chip Group said Ha’s appointment marks an important new chapter as the company positions itself for sustained growth in travel retail

Blue Chip Group has appointed Sangmin Ha as Managing Director, effective 7 January. Ha will report directly to Blue Chip Group Co-Founder Flora Lee, who will assume the position of Chairman, while also leading business development across the group.

According to Blue Chip, the restructuring strengthens the company’s leadership framework to support its next phase of growth.

Ha brings 20 years of experience from The Shilla Duty Free, where he held a number of senior leadership roles spanning strategic business development, retail operations and brand partnerships.

As Managing Director, Ha will be responsible for driving initiatives to further strengthen the group’s distribution network.

He will also expand its brand portfolio and enhance the company’s integrated capabilities across its core business sectors, including retail distribution, advertising and media, and ecommerce.

Ha will work closely with global brand partners, duty-free operators and wider retail stakeholders to reinforce Blue Chip Group’s market presence and maintain its focus on long-term partnerships and operational excellence.
