Bad to the bone: Gaultier’s Le Male Terrible |
FRANCE. Beauté Prestige International (BPI) has unveiled a new version of its Le Male men’s fragrance from designer Jean Paul Gaultier. Le Male Terrible will be available in travel retail from September.
The scent is said to be the olfactory embodiment of the perennially attractive “bad boy”, complete with bare torso and tattoos. In line with this concept, the fragrance flacon features a razor blade emblem, which has “slashed” the signature striped sailor’s jersey.
The juice is described as an eau de toilette extreme. It opens with a blast of freshness, thanks to bittersweet grapefruit and pink pepper, leading to a heart of lavender. The base blends vetiver, vanilla and ambery musk.
Le Male Terrible will be available as a 75ml and 125ml edt, priced in travel retail at around €43 and €60, respectively.
