Brisbane Airport opens Landers Pocket with 4 Pines Brewery and Never Never Gin Distillery

The attraction is poised to offer an unmissable experience for travellers and Brisbane residents

AUSTRALIA. Brisbane Airport has unveiled its sports and entertainment destination, Landers Pocket, featuring 4 Pines Brewery and Never Never Gin Distillery.

The 800-capacity venue features a beer garden, gastropub dining and a variety of event and function spaces.

Landers Pocket anchors an expanded 16-hectare entertainment hub within Brisbane Airport’s Skygate precinct, conveniently connected to the Domestic and International terminals by a complimentary shuttle bus.

Upon completion, the venue will also feature padel courts, a dedicated play zone for kids, a 3,000-seat amphitheatre for major concerts and a sprawling lawn set for festivals and pop-up markets.

Enhancing the amenities, the driving range at Golf Central has doubled in size, complete with ball-tracking in every bay.

Landers Pocket is named in honour of the market garden that stood on part of the airport site a century ago.

Craft, cuisine, connection: 4 Pines Brewery elevates the airport dining experience

Landers Pocket Managing Director James Cooper emphasised the precinct’s scale, noting it is four times the size of Howard Smith Wharves and will serve a distinctive experience to thousands of weekly visitors and travellers.

He said: “Our vision for Landers Pocket is to create a truly unique entertainment destination – a place that celebrates award-winning beer and gin, new wave golf and elevated dining. This is just the beginning.”

Warm wooden accents, relaxed vibes and an extensive food and drinks menu await travellers

4 Pines Brewing Co. General Manager Todd Atkinson highlighted the venue’s 32 draught taps, featuring their core range alongside two rotating onsite taps serving Brisbane limited-release beers available for a short time.

Atkinson said: “4 Pines Brewing Landers Pocket isn’t your average pub – it’s part of a one-of-a-kind entertainment quarter with the freshest beer brewed on-site, great food, good vibes, and something for everyone. We’re pumped to throw the doors open and be part of this epic new precinct.”

Brisbane Airport Executive General Manager Commercial Scott Norris added, “This new dining and entertainment precinct at Skygate reinforces that Brisbane Airport is more than just a gateway, it’s a destination in its own right for Brisbane residents.

“This vibrant new hub is for everyone, whether you’re touching down, taking off or simply dropping in for an afternoon of sunshine and craft pours in the beer garden.”

The openings are part of Brisbane Airport’s 100th anniversary celebrations and its A$5 billion (US$3.3 billion) Future BNE transformation across the precinct. ‍
