Roman luxury house Bvlgari has revealed its redesigned retail spaces at Europe’s key travel retail locations.
Bvlgari has partnered with Lagardère Travel Retail for the opening of the revamped stores in Paris Charles de Gaulle, Rome Leonardo da Vinco-Fiumicino and Brussels airports.
The updated stores at London Heathrow, Zurich, Athens and Amman Queen Alia international airports were also unveiled in collaboration with Dufry (soon to be named Avolta).
The enhanced retail spaces reflect the rich Roman heritage of the luxury house, showcasing the brand’s fragrance collection.
The brand’s expanded presence is a response to the heightened demand for travel to Europe, a region that is popular for luxury shopping.
The refreshed perfume counters feature familiar design elements from the luxury house including its signature Pavonazzetto marble décor, which embodies the spirit of the Eternal City. The saffron accents bring the warmth of the apricot sun of Rome.
Adding radiance to the space are the golden brass details such as the eight-pointed star, which is featured in the Condotti flagship store in Rome.
These corners merge classic architecture with contemporary Italian aesthetics – all coming together to showcase the vibrancy of Bvlgari’s fragrance collections.
The sculptural fragrance flacons reflect the stores’ architectural design, and their colours evoke vivid gemstones.
Curated shopping
Bvlgari’s redesigned perfume corners showcase Bvlgari’s Allegra and Le Gemme fragrance lines.
The stores offer bespoke services such as personalised gifting.
Pop-up events including flacon engraving and complimentary fashion illustrations will also feature in-store.
Bvlgari Allegra
The Bvlgari Allegra line is the main highlight of the spaces. Each scent from this collection is described as a celebration of Italian emotions. The Riva Solare Eau de Parfum evokes the Italian Riviera sun, the Spettacolore Eau de Parfum is inspired by the winter solstice in Puglia, while the Baciami Eau de Parfum is an expression of the pure passion of Italian love.
Each fragrance can be personalised with Magnifying Essences including Bergamot, which is made with the zest of freshly harvested citrus fruits.
Bvlgari Allegra’s eclectic range of personalisation options has made it globally popular, winning prestigious awards from media outlets in the US, Russia, India and Thailand.
Le Gemme
Drawing inspiration from the gemstones often used in Bvlgari’s jewellery collections, the fragrances in the Le Gemme collection each feature a different stone reproduction on the bottle cap.
The fragrance line is inspired by the mythical Bvlgari Gems Road, which symbolises the house’s gemstone sourcing routes.
The Tygar Eau de Parfum represents a journey to Kerala, known as the ‘spice garden of India’ and home of the sparkling tiger’s eye. The scent offers bright citrus notes and richness of ginger.
Featuring a blend of vanilla and oud, Orom is inspired by labradorite – a shimmering gemstone found in Madagascar, Africa’s Treasure Island. ✈
