FRANCE. Friends of Alexander Smith, Editor of Global Drinks Intel., who sadly passed away last weekend, are invited to an informal gathering in Cannes to remember him and to celebrate his life.
A drinks event is planned for Tuesday 4 October at Morrison’s Bar, 10 rue Teisseire, a location often visited by Alec over many years attending TFWA World Exhibition. It will begin at 9pm.
The evening will offer friends and colleagues past and present an opportunity to salute Alec’s life, and recall how he enriched many of our lives.
A book of condolence will be available for people to share memories and tributes, and will later be given to Alec’s family.
Ac reported, Alec passed away on Saturday surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Charlotte and children Olivia, William and Alexander and is much missed by his wider family, friends and colleagues.
