Airport Inclusivity
The Moodie Davitt Report unveils Airport Inclusivity World
The Moodie Davitt Report is delighted to announce Airport Inclusivity World, the latest edition to our wide-ranging, market-leading travel retail and airport non-aeronautical revenues publishing and events portfolio.
The retailer’s exhibition stand in the Dubai World Trade Centre highlighted seven key initiatives aimed at improving accessibility for travellers and staff.
The facility features a sensory space, adult changing facilities, charging points for wheelchairs and devices, and bespoke seating for those with mobility challenges.
This achievement is part of a broader city-wide initiative that has also designated Dubai as a Certified Autism Destination, building on Dubai Airports and Emirates Airlines’ earlier recognition as the first airport and airline to achieve the certification.
“This is an incredible opportunity for us to present BLR Airport as a destination, driving new guest experience concepts and industry synergy,” says Bangalore International Airport Limited CCO Kenneth Guldbjerg.
The airport authority has rolled out accessibility resources, including sensory maps and videos, to make travel easier for neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive passengers at O’Hare and Midway international airports.
The programme is a first-of-its-kind, fully sponsored global effort aimed at empowering the next generation of female leaders in food & beverage.
Highlights of the 2025 networking agenda include parasports activities under the ‘Yes We Cannes!’ initiative and an exclusive ‘Phenomena Club’ event on closing night featuring world-renowned DJ Martin Solveig.
Designed with a strong sense of place, the new lounges span 450sq m in the airport’s Domestic Terminal and 620sq m in the International Terminal.
The meeting focused on ‘Hybrid Positive Nutrition’, a theme that seeks to reimagine the concept of healthy, exciting and sustainable food in global transit environments.
The terminal’s design, described as transformative for Australian airport architecture, is “grounded in place, shaped by light, and built for the future of aviation”.
Through the Self-Esteem Club, Erborian invites global travellers to join a movement that celebrates diversity, embraces authenticity and redefines traditional beauty standards.
Through this partnership, more than 3,000 PPG frontline team members will complete IBCCES training and certification, equipping them with the skills to better understand and support travellers with hidden disabilities.
