CAVU Group acquires global airport parking reservation platform ParkVia

INTERNATIONAL. Manchester Airports Group company CAVU Group has acquired global parking reservation platform ParkVia, holder of the largest inventory of airport parking worldwide.

CAVU – whose stated aim is to become the world’s number one provider of airport products and services worldwide – said the strategic acquisition will help expand its connections to airports globally while unlocking new opportunities in ports, rail stations, city centres and other locations.

Manchester-headquartered ParkVia’s website has more than four million registered users and connects drivers with airport parking spaces in more than 40 countries. It has gained royal recognition, winning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade in both 2014 and 2019.

CAVU CEO Martin Jones said the deal will help both companies to scale their travel marketplace globally

The company is dedicated to collaborating with providers of parking and other travel-related products across the globe to deliver a range of services to airport users.

Commenting on the deal, CAVU CEO Martin Jones said: “This is an exciting opportunity for both ParkVia and CAVU. Our organisations have shared ambitions, culture and values. We’ll be combining our inventory to access new customers through more channels in our core markets, as well as exploring new markets together as we continue to scale our travel marketplace globally.”

ParkVia Managing Director Mark Pegler said: “For over 15 years we have been offering customers a one-stop shop where they can choose the right airport parking for their needs, combined with other airport products such as lounges and FastTrack.”

He added: “Bringing our businesses together will enable us to double down on our vision and provide us with mutual opportunities to accelerate our growth faster than we could on our own, creating more value for our passengers and the businesses that serve them.”

CAVU now operates in 23 countries, across 300 airports, with 1,200 suppliers and 3,000 individual parking products and a range of other travel-related products.

It also operates 24 airport lounges across the UK and US serving over 2.5 million lounge guests annually, with four more lounges set to open in Financial Year 2024. ✈
