Danish lingerie company Change Lingerie has opened a concept store at Copenhagen Airport’s Terminal 2 that sells lingerie and swimwear in sizes ranging from A to K.
Change has installed screens with departure times and gate information in the fitting rooms for customer convenience.
Copenhagen Airports Vice President for Sales and Marketing Carsten Nørland said one of the priorities at Copenhagen Airport is giving passengers a “stress-free, comfortable and inspiring” place to start their trip. “Our range of shops and services are key to passengers’ travel experience, and the information screens in the fitting rooms will help give passengers the time to enjoy the personal advice the staff at Change Lingerie can give them,” said Nørland.
The store also sells items that travellers can pick up on the go, such as hosiery and boxer shorts.
The store opening is part of the company’s wider strategy to grow its presence, particularly in the Nordic region, where it plans to open 25 concept stores over the next few years.
Said Change Lingerie CEO and Founder Claus Walther Jensen: “We are proud to now welcome customers at Copenhagen Airport. As a Danish brand, we have come very far since our start-up in 1995, and it is only natural that we have a concept store at Copenhagen Airport today – something that also underlines our international profile.”
Change also announced that in autumn this year it will launch a new brand in collaboration with a “˜prominent American superstar’. The new brand will be sold at Change Lingerie concept stores like the one in Copenhagen Airport as well as a number of international department stores, specialty shops and online stores, the company said.
