Changi Airport named one of the Top Influential Brands by travellers

Travellers chose Singapore Changi Airport for its commitment to passenger experience and innovation

SINGAPORE. Changi Airport has been named one of the 2024 Top Brands in the Tourism & Travel category by research firm Influential Brands.

The annual Top Brands awards are based on a study involving Singapore tourists. The comprehensive survey, conducted during the fourth quarter of 2023, polled 500 tourists to determine their preferred destinations within the city state.

The brands were honoured for representing “the very essence of Singapore’s identity” as one of the leading travel destinations in the world.

Singapore’s much-admired travel hub was named the travellers’ choice by Top Influential Brands for providing top-class duty-free and travel retail experiences

The airport was lauded for delivering an “unparalleled airport experience” and for elevating the duty-free and travel retail space.

Changi Airport’s recent expansion programmes and strategic partnerships have further cemented its status as a leader in the industry, offering travellers an enhanced shopping experience, with a touch of Singaporean hospitality, Influential Brands noted.

It added that the level of experience offered by Changi Airport “contributed to the rich tapestry of experiences that define Singapore’s allure to travellers worldwide”.

Aside from Changi Airport, other top contenders in their respective categories were Gardens by the Bay, acclaimed as a quintessential tourist attraction; and Marina Bay Sands, hailed as a premier shopping destination. ✈
