China Duty Free Group launches sixth annual cdf Watch Festival

CHINA. China Duty Free Group (CDFG) has marked the launch of its sixth annual cdf Watch Festival in Hainan. The event, which provides a showcase for over 70 watch & jewellery brands, runs from 14 March to 26 April.

The Festival highlights “globally renowned timepieces, limited-edition rare pieces and brand-exclusive new products,” said CDFG in a statement. “The festival allows consumers to appreciate and purchase top-tier global timepieces without leaving Hainan Island,” it added.

Events are being held across the travel retailer’s Hainan network including Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex, cdf Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex, Haikou Riyue Plaza, Haikou Meilan Airport, Sanya Phoenix Airport and the Qionghai Boao store.

During the launch event, activities included brand interactions, offers of gifts with purchase and celebrity appearances, allowing watch enthusiasts to “experience watchmaking craftsmanship and fashion aesthetics up close”.

Fiyta, one of China’s leading watchmakers, has joined forces with long-time partner CDFG to unveil its J-35A watch through the travel retailer’s channels. Its design was inspired by the sleek lines of the J-35A fighter jet.

From now until the end of June, pre-orders are available through CDFG. From the end of June to 30 September it will be exclusively available through CDFG channels. 🏝️
