Eye candy: Clinique champions Chubby |
Clinique is set to further extend its successful Chubby Stick portfolio with the new Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes. The collection will be available in travel retail worldwide from April.
Chubby Sticks made their debut, in the form of a Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm, in 2011. They were an instant hit with consumers, thanks largely to their ease of use.
Now the format is set to be introduced to the eye make-up category. Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes is said to deliver a wash of sheer, buildable, long-wearing colour, in a rainbow array of shades. Like its lip predecessor, it is portable, easy to apply and requires no sharpening. The formula is infused with vitamin E.
The shadows are presented in a shade-matched, crayon-like barrel. The versatile sticks, available in 12 colours, are easy to blend and can be used as eye liners and/or eye shadows.
In other news, Clinique has introduced a new Even Better City Block product, to selected travel retail doors. It is available in two versions, depending on the market it targets. Even Better City Block Anti-Pollution SPF 40/PA+++, available from March in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific travel retail, has been designed exclusively for Asian skin. The product features new anti-pollution technology and potent antioxidants within a lightweight formulation to keep skin looking brighter for longer, according to the brand. In addition, the line’s signature whitening technology helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots and evens out skin tone.
Even Better City Block Anti Pollution Broad Spectrum SPF40 will be available in the Americas from April.
