COSMETICS: Illusion becomes a beautiful reality for La Prairie

FRANCE. Rose Illusion pre-makeup treatment, the latest addition in the Cellular Treatment range by La Prairie, will launch in regional travel retail markets from February 2004.

The new Cellular Treatment Rose Illusion Line Filler calls on advanced silicone technology in the form of Marine Collagen Microspheres to gently “plump” the surface of the skin, helping to fill in fine lines and minimise wrinkles. At the same time, light-deflecting polymers and optical diffusers camouflage flaws and even the skin tone to enhance the illusion of perfection.

It is not all illusion, however, ursolic acid helps firm the skin and restore elasticity; glycerin and hyaluronic acid moisturise; vitamin E provides anti-oxidant protection; La Prairie’s exclusive Cellular Complex nourishes the skin and helps revitalise its natural powers of renewal.

In keeping with La Prairie’s long-standing tradition of luxury, Cellular Treatment Rose Illusion Line Filler is a gossamer, oil-free gel in a beautiful rose tone that is a pleasure to use. It is designed to smooth over the skin after moisturising and before applying makeup, concentrating on areas where fine lines are the most problematic – for example around the eyes and upper lip. It can also be used as a spot treatment and is presented in a 30ml jar.

Suggested retail price for Cellular Treatment Rose Illusion Line Filler is US$100 or €94. The first launch (on counter) is scheduled for European and selected domestic markets in January 2004, followed by European and Middle East travel retail in February.
