Don Choco Jeeves snackbot sees Ritter Sport on the move with Eurotrade at Munich Airport

GERMANY. Ritter Sport has partnered with Munich Airport subsidiary Eurotrade and local promotions agency uCastMe to launch a high-profile promotion and a quirky tasting format featuring the chocolate brand’s mascot Don Choco. 

The campaign, running until December end at the Bavarian gateway, features a Don Choco Jeeves snackbot, inviting travellers to ‘Start Your Love Affair with the Square’. 

Don Choco greets passengers at the Eurotrade duty-free store, while the branded Jeeves snackbot, developed by Munich company Robotise, distributes complimentary samples of Ritter Sport chocolate to passengers at departure gates.

In-store, travellers can sample Ritter Sport chocolate squares, take photographs at the Ritter Sport bar and view the brand’s travel retail editions: Pink Pouch and Pink Mini Tower.

The exclusive products include a mix of five flavours: Salted Caramel, Strawberry Creme, Alpine Milk, Cornflakes and Butter Biscuit.

Ritter Sport Marketing Manager, Global Travel Retail Nicole Miltenberger said, “The spotlight of this promotion puts our ‘Start Your Love Affair with the Square’ campaign right at the heart of the airport.

“We’re always looking for creative ways to engage travellers – and with a little help from Jeeves, we’re delivering service with colour, fun and flavour both on the concourse and in-store.”
