CAMBODIA. Dufry last week officially opened three new shops at Siem Reap International Airport’s new Terminal Garden. The terminal, operated by Société Concessionnaire des Aéroports, opened for business on 22 June with the inauguration on 5 July. News of Dufry’s new stores was first broken by The Moodie Report on 17 May.
The trio of shops cover 336sq m of retail space. A traditional duty free store selling spirits, tobacco, perfumes and cosmetics, confectionery, sunglasses and other items covers 154sq m.
A 160sq m destination merchandise/souvenirs outlet offers Cambodian handicrafts, including bags, scarves and silk garments, hand-made wooden interior ornaments, sand stone and polychrome souvenirs. Both stores are located in the Departures area.
The third shop is a 22sq m Arrivals outlet that offers a classic duty free assortment.
