HONG KONG, CHINA. Duty Zero by cdf has revealed further details of The Art of Whisky experience at Hong Kong International Airport, which runs to 6 May. As we reported earlier this week, the multi-faceted campaign offers a blend of interactive experiences, sensory tastings and exclusive promotions.
The offer includes whiskies to sample from many regions, ages and tastes.

The retailer has drawn together over 30 rare, high-aged and limited-edition whiskies, including The Balvenie Chapter 5 Collection, Highland Park 54 Year Old single malt and Bowmore 1968 AM ARC 52 Year Old. “This is one of the few opportunities for collectors to acquire these exquisite bottles, catering to the demand for premium whiskies among global travellers,” said Duty Zero in a statement.

Each weekend, brand ambassadors will host tasting sessions and share their insights on the flavours, craftsmanship and heritage of renowned distilleries. These include Ardbeg, Johnnie Walker, Mortlach, Highland Park, The GlenGrant, The Glenlivet, The Glenmorangie, The Royal Salute and The Singleton.

Duty Zero is also employing its ZERObot robot bartender to prepare whisky cocktails to taste. Cocktails include classics such as the Whisky Highball and Whisky Sour, as well as the fruity Blush of Dawn, an event special. ZERObot recently captured the award for Most Innovative Use of Technology in The Moodies – which honour excellence in airport and travel retail social & digital media and marketing.
“The Art of Whisky is more than an event; it is a tribute to the craftsmanship and heritage behind every bottle of whisky,” said Duty Zero by cdf General Manager Maisy Au. “We are thrilled to offer travellers a unique whisky experience that combines the expert insights of brand ambassadors with innovative technology, blending fun and interactivity to guide them through the fascinating world of whisky.” ✈
