Beauty distributor Essence Corp has bolstered its Clarins Group business with the Caribbean launch of the new Azzaro Chrome United masculine fragrance. The line was introduced to retailers in November 2013.
“After only a few months, this new fragrance quickly became one of the brand’s pillars in the region,” noted Essence.

Chrome United – described as “the fragrance of friendship” – is a fresh, woody, musky fragrance, inspired by a summer’s day. The advertising visual, shot by Phil Poynter, features four friends enjoying a day trip to the beach in a Mustang.
“I wanted to create a sense of energy and a connection between this group of friends by telling a story experienced by all young guys their age, united in the same cause”¦in an ideal location, bathed in natural energy,” Poynter explained.
The fragrance juice, composed by Robertet’s Richard Ibanez, opens on notes of Sichuan pepper, coriander and bergamot, atop a heart of green tea, black tea and violet leaf. The dry-down features a musky-woody accord.
The Chrome United flacon is a reinterpretation of the Original Chrome bottle. The stem of the spray is coloured electric blue, to complement the blue of the juice and the outer packaging.
The product line-up comprises 30ml, 50ml and 100ml edt sprays, plus a 75ml after shave balm.
