CURAÇAO. Caribbean travel retailer Penha Duty Free has joined with Shiseido, which is distributed by Miami-based Essence Corp, to sponsor the 2019 Curaçao Tennis Legends.

The event included clinics for talented local tennis players, a school visit and a Pro-Am tournament. It featured retired Belgian tennis ace Xavier Malisse, the Netherlands’ Sjeng Schalken, seven-time Grand Slam winner Mats Wilander of Sweden and France’s Henri Leconte.

Shiseido highlighted its suncare line during the event, with an emphasis on protecting skin against harmful UVA and UVB rays. The brand also offered skincare master classes at Penha stores in Punda and Salinja.
During the second day of the event, which was organised by Team TOC, Tournament Director Eric Kersten and Leconte presented the Curaçao Athletic Scholarship Foundation a cheque to boost its support of local athletes.
