Global passenger and baggage services specialist Excess Baggage Company has appointed Simon Onslow as Managing Director, following his tenure as Head of Sales & Business Development.
Onslow joined Excess Baggage Company in 2018, having previously worked with travel retail brand Rolling Luggage. He has since played a key role in developing commercial partnerships and supporting the company’s international expansion.
As Managing Director, Onslow will oversee global operations and lead strategic growth across the company’s portfolio of passenger services at airports, railway stations and other key transport hubs.
Excess Baggage Company offers a range of convenience services, including baggage storage, baggage wrapping, lost property management, luggage and travel accessory retail, airport-city-airport baggage transfer and related baggage solutions.
These services are designed to support travellers while providing transport operators with additional revenue opportunities.

The company works with leading airport and infrastructure partners, including: Heathrow Airport; Groupe ADP at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports; Jeddah Airports Company; VINCI Airports at London Gatwick and Budapest airports; Qatar Duty Free at Hamad International Airport; Manchester Airports Group at Manchester and London Stansted airports; Abu Dhabi Airports at Abu Dhabi and Al Ain international airports; Greater Toronto Airports Authority at Toronto Pearson International Airport; Brussels Airport Company; Genève Aéroport; Finavia at Helsinki Airport; Dammam Airports Company; Aena at Madrid and Barcelona airports; AGS Airports at Glasgow Airport; and airline partners Finnair and British Airways.
