Fabrice Paturle forms new gastronomic agency company

FRANCE. Fabrice Paturle, formerly of French fine food company Fauchon, has launched his own agency called F.T.S, specialising in consultancy services to independent food companies seeking distribution in selective retail.

Speaking about the establishment of F.T.S (an acronym for Fabrice Travel Selections) to The Moodie Report, Paturle explained: “The purpose is to be the exclusive agent for independent family-owned food companies selling to selective distribution like duty free and catering. It is based on two pillars: Sweet & Sour Pleasures.

“I have already signed exclusive agreements with companies working on chocolates and biscuits, and foies gras and truffles, and there is more to come.”

Within each section, Paturle says he will offer both “tradition and innovation products, classical and modern items”.

Paturle will be visiting Cannes during the TFWA World Exhibition from Tuesday to Friday (he resigned from his former Fauchon MC seat in September), and will attend the SIAL exhibition in Paris beforehand.

Paturle has many years’ experience in the gastronomic field, having worked for four years with Chartreuse Liqueurs, 16 years with Rougié Foies Gras and three years with Fauchon.

Paturle also announced that the joint venture Fauchon Travel Retail (F.T.R) ended in August after a three-year contract, as travel retail has now been taken over directly by Fauchon SAS under Faozia Math Ly Roun and the new Export Director, Olivier Morel.
