‘Femininity and lightness’ combine as King Power Group brings La Perla to Hong Kong International Airport – 06/04/09

HONG KONG. King Power Group (Hong Kong) has opened a La Perla boutique at Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1. The boutique, King Power’s second for the upscale lingerie-to-beachwear brand, opened on 2 April.

The retailer opened its first La Perla boutique – and the first in an Asia Pacific airport – at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3 in January 2008.

King Power Duty Free and Travel Retail Managing Director Sunil Tuli said that he was very pleased to further expand the company’s business with La Perla in the region as the retailer enjoys an excellent partnership with the brand.

The new La Perla Boutique was designed by Gabriele Buratti as “a synthesis of an idea of femininity and lightness”

La Perla offers a range of luxury Italian lingerie, beachwear and ready-to-wear.

La Perla Group began its retail distribution activity in 1994 and today has 82 boutiques across 29 countries. Asia is a key strategic target for the company, which has opened an office in Singapore to drive business across the region.

The new La Perla Boutique has been designed by Milanese architect Gabriele Buratti and is described as “a synthesis of an idea of femininity and lightness”.
