US/CANADA. Avolta has inducted five members of staff into its North American Hall of Fame, who the travel experience said represent “the very best of travel service excellence”.
The outstanding colleagues were chosen from over 31,000 team members across 110 travel retail and food & beverage venues serving the USA and Canada.
Avolta celebrated the 2024 Hall of Fame inductees at its North America Support Center.
Describing the criteria for the Hall of Fame, Avolta noted it recognises team members who provide “the most memorable of experiences to travellers and to their colleagues, with their efforts not only enriching the lives of those around them, but also serving as a shining example of what it means to go the extra mile”.

The 2024 Avolta Hall of Fame inductees are:
- Aida Berhen – HMSHost Bartender, Raleigh-Durham International Airport
- Mariia Protas – Hudson Operations Office Admin, Vancouver International Airport
- Charles Thring – Dufry Stock Manager, Toronto Pearson International Airport
- Monique Santos – HMSHost HR Specialist, Palm Beach International Airport
- Chi Wai Chow – Dufry Shift Supervisor, Vancouver International Airport
To earn their place among the company’s service superstars, each of these inductees had been repeatedly recognised by their manager and peers for their outstanding service throughout 2024 and then subsequently nominated for the Hall of Fame by operations leadership in their respective regions.
