American chocolate company Ghirardelli has signed a distribution agreement with International Duty Free (IDF) to support its travel retail expansion in key markets across Middle East, India and Africa (MEIA).

The move supports the company’s growth ambitions, leveraging partnerships with established distributors to grow its presence in promising travel retail markets.

Recognising IDF’s distribution capabilities, Ghirardelli noted the company’s longstanding presence in key markets, including Egypt, as well as its strong network and proven channel performance across the MEIA region.

Ghirardelli will drive IDF’s confectionery expansion, delivering its products to travellers across MEIA and bolstering its footprint in key travel retail markets for long-term growth.
