LVMH-owned beauty and fragrance house Guerlain has revealed new makeup lines which underline the brand’s close association with nature and its commitment to sustainability.
Newcomers include Rouge G Luxurious Velvet Metal lipsticks, Noir G mascara, Ombres G eyeshadow, five eye pencils and Terracotta Light powder.
Guerlain introduced its Rouge G lipstick in 2009 and Luxurious Velvet was revealed last year. The line is now extended by six bold metallic finish colours, all inspired by the glints of butterfly wings. The same theme features on three new collectors’ cases.
Rouge G Luxurious Velvet Metal lipsticks have a RRP of €37 and the cases €36.
Noir G is a mascara which, according to Guerlain, “pushes volume and curl intensity to the max”. Enriched with winter rose oil, it combines ebony and midnight blue pigments to offer an intense blacker-than-black shade. It has a RRP of €70.
The new Ombres G pigmented eyeshadow quartet is available in six colour combinations, including Mystic Peacock, Metal Butterfly and Majestic Rose.
It is accompanied by five new eye pencils – Black Ebony, Brown Earth, Jungle Green, Night Blue and Plum Peony – offering a long-hold, waterproof texture. The pencils have a RRP of €27.50.
Terracotta Light is a new glow powder with 96% naturally derived ingredients, including honey from Euphorbia, a Moroccan plant.
Each powder case offers four shades to combine satin bronzing, tone-on-tone matt, vibrant blush and luminiser to suit all skin types. Three intensities – Light, Medium and Dark – are each available in two tones: Cool and Warm.
Terracotta Light is accompanied by a travel-friendly synthetic brush with a lacquered wood base.
Terracotta Light has a RRP of €50 and the Kabuki Powder Brush €55.
