UK. Heathrow Airport has moved to provide an additional benefit to staff in the face of the UK’s worsening cost of living crisis. Airport colleagues will have free access to hot meals every day, served by Heathrow catering partner Eurest, throughout the winter months.
From this month, the meals are being served to staff by Eurest in various easily accessible locations across the UK’s busiest airport.
Retail Director Fraser Brown told The Moodie Davitt Report: “We know the increase in the cost of living is on the minds of many of our colleagues, which is why Heathrow is considering what we can do to further support staff through these uncertain economic times. ”
He added: “Free meals while at work for every Heathrow colleague during the winter months, delivered through our restaurant partner Eurest, is just one of a number of measures we are putting in place to support our team.”
