Hudson opens trio of joint venture stores at Philadelphia Airport

USA. Hudson, part of Avolta, has unveiled airside shops from three well-known brands at Philadelphia International Airport. The concessionaire is now operating Brookstone, Rip Curl and Sunglass Hut stores in collaboration with retail partners.

The Brookstone consumer electronics store (pictured above) in Terminal F is a joint venture between Hudson and Erin Zwiercan, Operating Partner of Jack Duggan’s PHL. Hudson has been the exclusive travel retailer for Brookstone since 2019. 

The store’s high-tech product line-up includes Bluetooth headphones from brands such as Apple, Beats, Bose and Sony, as well as portable massagers, gadgets and other accessories. Brand Ambassadors are on hand to assist passengers and provide product demonstrations.

Rip Curl (above), the brand which bills itself as ‘The Ultimate Surfing Company’, offers an extensive collection of surfing sportswear and accessories from wetsuits and casual clothing to waterproof watches. The B/C Connector-located store is also a joint venture between Hudson and Zwiercan.

The same partnership is now also operating the new Sunglass Hut in Terminal F (below).
