Canadian travel pillow brand Ibboo has pledged its support for eco-charity Give Back to Nature’s ‘The Million Tree Project.’
The company has announced that it will plant 100 trees in regions affected by deforestation for every travel retail appointment — however long or short — at TFWA Asia Pacific in Singapore in May.
The company has also pledged to plant a tree for every Ibboo pillow and cushion sold globally.
Give Back to Nature’s ‘The Million Tree Project’ aims to plant one million trees in developing countries all over the world. In addition to this, the charity also aims to prevent the equivalent of one million plastic bottles from ending up as landfill or ocean waste.
Give Back to Nature was founded by world-renowned Nature & Landscape Photographer Patrick Di Fruscia. The environmental charity focuses on recreating healthy forest systems, preserving wildlife habitats, purifying water sources, controlling flooding and erosion, improving air quality, and reducing land, air and water pollution.
To date, Give Back to Nature has offset 7.346 million tonnes of carbon through the project.
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now”— Give Back to Nature
