SINGAPORE. Today’s selection of images is courtesy of Changi Airport Group, which has opened registration for T5 In the Making, an immersive exhibition offering a first look at the vision, design and innovations shaping the spectacular upcoming Terminal 5.

Running from 6 January to March in the Terminal 3 Arrival Hall, the exhibition features interactive displays, scale models and experiential zones, with free entry for all visitors.

The event is organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore.
Spanning five zones, the exhibition explores the airport’s strategic shift from Paya Lebar Air Base (which served as the city state’s civil aviation hub from 1955 until 1980) to Changi, alongside an experiential showcase of Terminal 5’s design, scale and innovations.

Other highlights include technologies under development to tackle manpower, ageing population and climate change challenges.

Completing the journey is a future-focused showcase of AI experiences alongside detailed scale models of T5 and the wider Changi East development.
Registrations are now open via the official website on a first-come, first-served basis, with up to five people per registration. Walk-in visits are subject to availability.
Terminal 5 is a key component of the broader Changi East development, which includes the airport’s third runway, cargo complexes and supporting aviation and ground transport infrastructure.
With construction underway since May, completion is targeted for the mid-2030s, supporting Singapore’s future growth.
The development is expected to drive business activities and generate employment across airport operations and related industries.
Terminal 5 will also provide community spaces, and strengthen Changi Airport’s status as one of the world’s leading aviation hubs. ✈
