QATAR. Today’s selection comes from Hamad International Airport, where a dazzling array of experiential activations were hosted earlier this week to kick off celebrations for the Doha gateway’s tenth anniversary.
The celebrations, themed ‘Here’s to the next 10 amazing years’, featured multiple festive activations across the expansive terminal, reflecting Hamad international Airport’s commitment to creating memorable experiences for its diverse global audience.
They included:
A cultural melting pot: Passengers were immersed in live cultural performances from Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America, held at various locations including Orchard, Concourse A and B, and Viale del Lusso. Highlighting Qatari tradition, Ardha – a traditional sword dance – was performed near Souq Al Matar, the recently launched Qatari souq at the airport.
Vibe to the rhythm:Signature attractions such as Lamp Bear at the South Plaza and Orchard in the North Plaza were transformed into mini-music festivals with live DJ performances. Street music performers greeted incoming passengers at the arrivals hall.
Big fun for little ones: Families travelling through Hamad International Airport enjoyed interactive and immersive experiences, including mascots, special kid’s performances, and face painting. ✈
