HONG KONG, CHINA. Today’s choice of images celebrates an extraordinary gesture by Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), host of The Trinity Forum 2023, which took place in Hong Kong on 25-26 October.
As guests sat down for the HKIA-hosted Gala Dinner which brought the event to a wonderful climax, they learned a lucky draw would be conducted later in the evening.
Little did they know how lucky.
When Airport Authority Hong Kong CEO Fred Lam (pictured below) took to the stage, he announced that not one but 50 guests would be lucky winners. Not only that, but the prize would be a return air ticket to/from Hong Kong.

Amid much excitement, the 50 lucky winners were revealed on the giant LED screen behind him. But there was more. In an extraordinary gesture, Lam then announced that all Gala Dinner guests would receive a return air ticket and the 50 lucky winners drawn earlier would receive two.

The airport company has been as good as its word and this week Gala Dinner guests duly received the email below. What a brilliant way to simultaneously stimulate Hong Kong’s steadily accelerating tourism recovery and to champion Trinity principles of partnership. ✈
