LITHUANIA. Today’s selection of images come courtesy of Gebr. Heinemann subsidiary Travel Retail Vilnius, which has opened an eye-catching, much-enhanced walk-through store in the Schengen zone at Kaunas International Airport.
The 585sq m store unites all categories under one roof with Lithuanian sense of place to the fore. The Baltic state’s heritage and culture are celebrated not only in food and drink – with traditional Lithuanian cake Šakotis, local spirits and craft beers prominent – but also in fragrances by Lithuanian haute couture designer Juozas Statkevičius. Linen and amber crafts and merchandise from basketball team BC Žalgiris Kaunas also further local lustre.
The bright, vibrant walk-through also features an enlarged space for beauty, with fashion & accessories housing global brands alongside local designers, while an expansive technology offer includes leading names such as JBL, Marshall and Sony.

The latest opening will be followed by a remodelled 107sq m shop in the Non-Schengen departures zone before year-end. In 2026 Travel Retail Vilnius will open an upgraded 1,300sq m walk-through store at Vilnius International Airport. ✈
