UK. Airport lounge and travel experiences company Airport Dimensions marked the reopening of its Club Aspire Lounge at Heathrow’s Terminal 3 with a series of celebrations recently.

Following nearly two years of Covid-19-imposed closure, staff at the Heathrow T3 Club Aspire Lounge welcomed customers back.

Club Aspire teams issued a warm welcome to returning guests in a celebratory atmosphere

Travellers visiting the lounge during the reopening weekend were offered a complimentary mimosa and a selection of treats – in addition to the usual drinks and snacks at Club Aspire.

The weekend festivities also presented an opportunity to celebrate an accolade from the World Travel Awards, where the Airport Dimensions and partners Swissport facility was awarded the title of Europe’s Leading Airport Lounge.

Club Aspire Product Manager James Feeney said: “It’s wonderful to be back to business at the Club Aspire Lounge after the pause we’ve had on operations. Over the last few months, we’ve felt the momentum building as travel is returning and this really does feel like the final step towards recovery. This past weekend of celebrations has been a perfect relaunch ahead of our busy Spring and Summer period.

“It’s great to have the opportunity to celebrate with our amazing team. They absolutely embody the culture of the brand, and they try their utmost to make sure every guest visit is a fabulous visit. The joy and happiness they bring to the lounge each and every day is infectious, and really sets the tone and ambience of the lounge. Many have been involved in the business since the lounge first opened and this award is a testament to them for making the Club Aspire at LHR T3 what it is today.”

Airport Dimensions Managing Director EMEA & APAC Errol McGlothan said: “The Club Aspire brand is an important part of the Airport Dimensions lounge portfolio, and our Heathrow T3 location is a bellwether for the health of the industry. The reopening of this lounge marks a new phase in our post-pandemic recovery and highlights our direction of travel in 2022.

“We also felt it was important to set aside some time to celebrate the reopening and our win at the World Travel Awards with the people who made it possible – as well as with the valued guests who come through the Club Aspire doors. We really couldn’t have done it without these people, so it was important that we paused to appreciate that – ideally with a slice of cake and a cocktail.”
