MITR General Manager: Jack Tabbers |
INTERNATIONAL. Mars International Travel Retail (MITR) has announced the appointment of Jack Tabbers as the new General Manager of its global duty free business.
Tabbers was previously Sales Director at the Mars Company in the Netherlands. Before that he gained international experience with Pepsi and Ferrero.
Commenting on his appointment, Tabbers said: “This is not an easy time for the travel business, but I am looking forward to the challenge and meeting all our travel retail customers. I aim to bring a fresh approach to the Mars ITR business, which is a key business sector for the company.
“Confectionery has continued to go from strength to strength, consistently gaining share across the ITR industry, and I am confident that this can continue in the coming years,” he added.
