Japan Tobacco International (JTI) has appointed one its most experienced executives, Olesja Flores, as its new General Manager Global Travel Retail.
Flores is a veteran of over 25 years with JTI, having performed senior market roles from European locations including Lucerne, Geneva, Copenhagen and Vilnius.
Her most recent role was as General Manager Swiss Market, a position she occupied for more than three-and-a-half years.
Flores will be based in Dubai for her global travel retail assignment.
Announcing her appointment on LinkedIn, Flores said: “Boarding complete! Next stop: Dubai. I’m so hyped to share that my ‘office’ is now a literal gateway to the world.
“I’m joining the team at JTI to lead Global Travel Retail. Dubai is the ultimate hub for innovation and rapid growth – the perfect backdrop for the fast-paced world of GTR. Let’s hit the ground running!” ✈
