L’OCCITANE unveils travel retail-exclusive sustainable gift set

The Provence Beauty Set features all the brand’s best-selling body products and is packaged without single-use plastics nor cellophane

L’OCCITANE Travel Retail has unveiled the Provence Beauty Set, a sustainable, travel retail-exclusive gift set.

The set underscores the company’s commitment to reducing waste while offering travellers exclusivity when choosing conscious gifts for their loved ones. It features all the brand’s best-selling body products. It is packaged in 100% FSC-certified cardboard without using cellophane nor single-use plastics.

In line with its mission to become a Cultivator of Change, L’OCCITANE has launched improved formulas and removed single-use plastics from its business. In addition, all packaging is made with 100% FSC-certified cardboard.

As of 2022, 92% of L’OCCITANE’s travel retail-exclusive sets are free from cellophane and no longer use any plastic pouches. The initiative has already reduced plastic waste by 278kg. On a wider group level, L’OCCITANE Group is no longer using polybags for transportation and logistics, resulting in the reduction of 122kg of plastic waste in travel retail alone.

In 2019, L’OCCITANE launched its first travel retail-exclusive set with an eco-refill. The set — which comprises two of L’OCCITANE en Provence’s best-selling items — reduces packaging waste by -97%.
