UK. MAC has introduced four new make-up collections to the travel retail channel: Rushmetal, Novel Twist, Flashtronic and In 3D.
The Rushmetal focus is on metallic glam. The collection includes eight limited-edition pigments, in shades such as Gold Mode and Mauvement, teamed with four lipsticks, each of which is finished with a tinge of gold, white or silver.
Two brushes accompany the products; the 247 Large Shader and 239 Eye Shader.
Novel Twist comprises limited-edition lip and eye compacts, and brush/make-up bags. They are presented in mannish striped packaging, embroidered with a twist of thread.
The lip trio compacts feature shades of tan, coral, pink or plum; the eye compacts five shades, in a choice of warm or cool colourways. A new selection of brushes complements the make-up items.
Novel Twist also includes a selection of Paint Pots, in shades such as Stringalong and Stray Grey. Paint Pots are long-lasting eye shadows that do not crease, cake or transfer, according to MAC.
Their dense coverage can be built up in both matte and pearl formulas, but is easily removed with MAC wipes.
MAC’s shimmering Mineralize products are the mainstay of Flashtronic. There are six new limited-edition shades of Mineralize eye shadow, complemented by four shades of Lipglass gloss and three shades of Mineralize Skinfinish.
Also included are MAC’s 134 Large Powder Brush and the 227 Large Fluff Brush.
Lastly, MAC’s In 3D collection features new “cellophane-effect” 3D Glass lipgloss. It is said to deliver extreme, multi-reflective shine, with a lightweight, balm-style comfortable feel.
The formula is enriched with vitamins A, C and E for extra moisture. The gloss is presented in a clear vial with a brush applicator.
3D Glass is complemented by a colour-matched array of nine sheer, limited-edition Lipglass pencils. These create a naturally-defined lip, with a glossy, non-feathering effect, according to MAC.
