GERMANY. Marcolin has launched Max Mara Eyewear at the newly inaugurated Luxury Sunglasses store in Munich International Airport Terminal 2.
As reported, the Bavarian gateway recently expanded its fashion offer with the opening of four premium brand stores – BOSS, Marc O’Polo, Eton and the multi-brand Luxury Sunglasses concept – in T2 near Gate H. The 480sq m luxury retail cluster is operated by the airport’s retail subsidiary, eurotrade.
Crafted by Marcolin, Max Mara Eyewear combines refined design with lightweight materials, aligning functionality with a distinctive style that reflects the fashion house’s sleek and tailored aesthetic.

Max Mara Eyewear’s offer at the Luxury Sunglasses store includes the Elsa style, which features a sophisticated metal frame presented in new shades and colourways. Another product highlight is the Ernest, an oversized design characterised by bold geometric lines and sculpted surfaces.
Also featured is the Menton frame, defined by a soft silhouette and embellished with the house’s Maxim detailing, which shapes the slim metal bridge.
Further enriching the assortment is a curated edit of special eyewear styles. These include Jean sunglasses, which feature tubular temples inspired by Eileen Gray’s design language; the fashion-forward HINGE-1 and the MM0136 style. The latter is an oversized acetate and metal style that plays with contrasting shades and thicknesses, again incorporating the Maxim signature. ✈
