Media Frankfurt teams up with Rolex for a long-term sponsorship deal at Frankfurt Airport

GERMANY. Media Frankfurt has signed an agreement with luxury watch maker Rolex for the long-term sponsorship of the clocks at Frankfurt Airport. Media Frankfurt manages the advertising concession at Frankfurt Airport.

The watch brand will feature on all clocks at the airport, from check-in through to departure gates.

Media Frankfurt said: “At Germany’s biggest airport, Rolex will be seen by thousands of decision makers and top earners every day. With over 56 million passengers in 2011 – and growth predicted for the future – Rolex can be sure of finding its target group there.”

The company described 62% of Frankfurt Airport passengers as “decision makers”. According to a survey, 58% of business travellers and 29% of private travellers are “interested in purchasing attractive, high-quality articles”.

Media Frankfurt GmbH is the exclusive marketing agency for advertising media at Frankfurt Airport, and for selected advertising space at Hannover and Hamburg airports.
