FRANCE. Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur has launched an open call for tenders for jewellery & watches retail concessions at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. Spaces are available in terminals 1 and 2 and in the General Aviation Terminal.
The tenders were issued this week with a submission date of 20 April.
As reported, terminals 1 and 2 are being extensively renovated and extended in line with the airport group’s strategy to become one of the major gateways in southern Europe. The new T1 will be inaugurated in May 2016; the new T2 in May 2017.
The vision for the redevelopment is to provide “the most surprising commercial experience in a European airport”, said the airport. The airport has identified four key types of passengers, and to satisfy their needs envisages a retail and F&B offer that focuses on what it describes as Côte d’Azur essentials, France essentials, trend-setters and airport essentials.
