NORDIC REGION. The Nordic Travel Retail Group (NTRG) has revealed details of a new format and strong speaker line-up for its annual Nordic Travel Retail Seminar, to be held on 3 June in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Under its billing as a “˜low cost’ event, this year’s Seminar will run over a half day instead of a full day, as previously. NTRG member companies can send two delegates for a special fee of €299, with delegates from other companies at €299 per guest.
The keynote speaker will be Brian Moore, who will address the theme “˜Optimising the travel retail shopper experience’. Moore is Managing Director of EMR-NAMNEWS Ltd, a global marketing and consultancy firm.
Other speakers in the opening session include NTRG Chairman John Baumgartner and Umdasch Shop-Konzept International Sales Manager Michael Ripfl. Ripfl will speak on beauty and wellness trends in travel retail, with an emphasis on shop design and fit-out.
In the second session, Arlanda Schiphol Development Company Managing Director Anne-Marie Zuidweg will address issues concerning airport commercial management, and Copenhagen Airports Head of Security Johnnie Müller will assess the aftermath of Christmas Day’s attempted terror attacks at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and their implications for security and airport commercial activities.
The event will be held at the Arken Hotel & Conference Centre and will be moderated by The Moodie Report Deputy Publisher Dermot Davitt.
