Perth Airport partners with Accor to develop first on-site hotel

AUSTRALIA. Perth Airport has teamed up with global hospitality company Accor to manage the first hotel at the airport estate under the Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand.

Set to open in 2027, the hotel will house 240 rooms and suites across eight floors, a rooftop restaurant and bar, lobby lounge café, gymnasium, sauna, meeting facilities and co-working spaces.

The project forms part of Perth Airport’s A$5 billion (US$3.27 billion) capital investment programme, described as the largest-ever private infrastructure development in the city, which includes a new terminal and ground transport infrastructure.

Pullman Perth Airport is set to enhance the passenger experience, offering “world-class” accommodation to both business and leisure travellers

Perth Airport  Chief Property Officer Dan Sweet said: “We are delighted to be partnering with world-leading hospitality group Accor to deliver our first hotel. The new Pullman Perth Airport hotel will be a world-class facility located at the front door to our major terminals. It will make it even more convenient for international and interstate visitors, providing a place to stay and relax during connections.

“Pullman, along with its parent company Accor, are both well-known and respected global hospitality brands. Their expertise and experience will ensure a fantastic new accommodation offering debuts in Perth, particularly for those transiting through the airport.”

Accor Pacific Chief Operating Officer PM&E Division Adrian Williams said that the expansion of the group’s airport hotel network reflects the development of airport precincts into major commercial and service centres.

Williams added: “We are thrilled to partner with Perth Airport to deliver Pullman Perth Airport. Given the hotel’s unrivalled location and exceptional facilities, we anticipate strong interest and demand for Pullman Perth Airport from both business and leisure travellers alike.

“Accor is the leading and largest operator of airport hotels in the Pacific region with 22 airport hotels and we are delighted to be adding Pullman Perth Airport to this collection.”

Designed by DKO Architecture, the hotel will showcase Western Australia’s unique beauty, incorporating materials and forms inspired by the local landscapes to create a warm and memorable welcome for visitors.

Accor’s Pullman brand has established a strong presence in Australia and New Zealand, featuring more than 20 hotels and resorts, positioning itself as the largest and fastest-growing premium brand in the market.

Pullman Perth Airport will be the fourth addition to the brand’s airport hotel network in the Pacific, joining Pullman Sydney Airport, Pullman Brisbane Airport and Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport Hotel, which opened in December. ✈
