Porsche Design targets modern women with new sub-label

Luxury sportswear and accessories brand Porsche Design has launched a new sub-label for women.

Porsche Design Woman is supported by a digital campaign shot at Frankfurt Airport to increase brand awareness. According to Porsche Design, while core focus remains on men, new Porsche Design Woman emphasises the brand’s aim to become “more attractive to women”.

Porsche Design’s Roadster Hardcase series, described as “elegant and casual”, is highlighted in the online campaign.

Porsche Design CEO Dr. Christian Kurtzke said: “Porsche Design creates designer sportswear and accessories for the global business traveller. We are in a unique position to win the race in the growth segment at the intersection of performance sportswear, technology, and sporty elegant fashion sportswear. A combination of outstanding design, functionality, and quality will ensure our success. With our new label, we want to also become more attractive to modern women.”

In addition to the redesign of Porsche Design’s own stores and its web presence which includes the www.porsche-design.com/Women homepage, the brand’s boutiques in London, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Milan, Beverly Hills, and New York City now have separate departments for the Porsche Design Woman sub-label.

In other news, Porsche Design recently announced the appointment of Pierre Costin as Creative Director.
