SPAIN. The Puig group has unveiled new “Live Sound” limited editions for its Paco Rabanne Black XS and Black XS for Her fragrances. They are on-counter now in European travel retail.

As the name suggests, the Live Sound versions have an edgy, rock star music theme. The masculine bottle has been customised with a leather wrist band, while the outer carton sports a transparent, cut-out guitar motif.
The feminine bottle – a mix of pink and black – is transparent and engraved with a rose. A chain adorned with two charms (a faceted strass crystal and an electric guitar) which can be worn as a bracelet, adorns the neck.
The Black XS juice opens on notes of Calabrian lemon, kalamanzi, tagette and sage, building to a heart of praline, cinnamon, tolu balsam and black cardamom. The base is a blend of palissander wood, black amber, patchouli and ebony wood.
The Black XS for Her juice features top notes of pink peppercorn, tamarind blossom and cranberry, atop a heart of black violet, hellebore rose and cacao flower. The dry down includes massoia wood, patchouli and vanilla.
To complement the launch, the company has created the www.blackxslivesound.com web-site, which welcomes music artists of all genres. The site’s objective is to create a space for artists to express themselves freely, make themselves known and build up a following, according to the company.
The virtual musical community, which will be on-line throughout the year, will also feature information on the Black XS tour, and surprise events in connection with Black XS fragrances.
Black XS Live Sound is priced at around €47 in travel retail for a 100ml edt spray; Black XS for Her Live Sound at €48 for an 80ml edt.
