QATAR. Qatar Duty Free (QDF) has been named World’s Leading Airport Duty Free Operator 2025 at the World Travel Awards Grand Final Gala, held on 6 December at Exhibition World Bahrain.
The World Travel Awards celebrate the best in travel and tourism worldwide, based on votes from industry professionals and consumers.
This latest accolade – the top honour in its category, rewarding outstanding performance and service – follows QDF’s regional success in October, when it was named Middle East’s Leading Airport Duty Free Operator 2025.
The wins cap a highly successful year in which QDF also secured Retailer of the Year at the Frontier Awards and World’s Best Airport Shopping at the Skytrax World Airport Awards.
QDF said the recognition underscores its continued investment in elevating the retail offer at Hamad International Airport.
