QATAR. Qatar Duty Free has opened the first Samsung Experience Store in the Middle East at Hamad International Airport (HIA).
Described as “a cutting-edge tech zone”, the store introduces the latest innovations from Samsung. Customers travelling through the airport can also make use of the exclusive Customer Service Desk for training and education on Samsung products, software upgrades, the resolution of application issues and other technical problems.
Qatar Duty Free Senior Vice President Keith Hunter said: “The opening of the new Samsung Experience Store at Hamad International Airport is an exciting development for Qatar Duty Free. This is an original and dynamic concept that we are proud to introduce to our customers shopping at the airport. This innovative store will appeal to those who wish to experience world-class technology in a highly interactive retail environment.

At Hamad International, Qatar Duty Free offers 40,000sq m of retail and food & drinks across more than 70 retail outlets and over 30 cafés and restaurants.
