The L’Oréal group and designer Ralph Lauren are building on the success of their Big Pony Collection for Men, with a new quartet of feminine fragrances. The Big Pony Fragrance Collection for Women will be launched in European, Asian and US travel retail markets in March-April.
Like its masculine counterpart, the line offers different scents, to appeal to today’s multi-faceted woman and all the roles she plays. Together they are said to form a fragrance wardrobe to match a variety of moods and occasions.
All four fragrances are described as bright, playful and energising, with a floral backdrop. Based on a duo of ingredients, each scent pops with a unique accent, to establish a clear identity with a distinctive twist.
Each flask-style flacon is a different colour, and sports a contrasting oversized version of the designer’s signature polo player icon and number.

Number 1 is the Sporty Fragrance, aimed at confident and fearless women. The floral citrus juice features grapefruit and blue lotus. The scent is presented in a blue bottle decorated with a yellow Big Pony polo player opposite a bright green number one.
Number 2 is the Sensual Fragrance, for seductive and spontaneous women. A fruity floriental, the juice is composed around cranberry and Tonka mousse. It is presented in an eye-catching pink bottle, complemented by a green oversized polo pony icon, next to a cool blue number two.
Number 3 is described as the Free-Spirited Fragrance, for women who are rebellious and independent. The key ingredients are pear and mimosa. The juice is presented in a luminous yellow flacon, with a blue polo pony and an orange number three.
Lastly, Number 4 is the Stylish Fragrance, for women who are daring and dynamic. The oriental floral features notes of wild cherry and purple amber. The packaging is a matching purple, and sports a pink polo pony next to a striking yellow number four.
