Rise Brand Partners adds Blackened Whiskey to distribution network

Rise Brand Partners, a multi-channel and multi-category curator of luxury brands, has entered a distribution partnership with Blackened Whiskey.

The collaboration will see the innovative whiskey – an award-winning premium bourbon-rye blend collaboration from Blackened Master Distiller and Blender Rob Dietrich and rock icons Metallica – available in travel retail in the Americas, Europe, the Caribbean and selected countries in Latin America.

The Sweet Amber Distilling Co, which produces Blackened, sonically enhances its whiskey to extract more flavour from the finishing casks.

The scientific process was co-developed with engineers at Meyer Sound, a global leader in sound technology. Dubbed Black Noise, this sonic-enhancement process produces low-hertz sound waves causing the whiskey to reverberate at a fast rate. According to the brand, the spirit interacts with the oak staves of the barrel, releasing wood compounds and flavours including toasted coconut, vanilla, butterscotch and caramel to provide the “one-of-a-kind Blackened Whiskey taste”.

Blackened Cask Strength is just one expression in the innovative whiskey brand’s offering

The “whiskey remastered” Blackened portfolio includes The Original Blackened, a blend of North American bourbon and rye whiskeys, finished and sonically enhanced in brandy casks. A limited-edition Cask Strength features the same blend, married and finished in brandy casks, bottled at cask strength, and non-chill filtered.

A Masters of Whiskey Series includes a Blackened X Rabbit Hole expression, developed in collaboration with Rabbit Hole Distillery while Blackened 72 Seasons is a limited edition, also enhanced in brandy casks. Ry the Lightning is finished in Madeira wine and Caribbean rum casks, and Blackened X Willet is bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered. ✈
